GLENFERRIE FESTIVAL 2024

Welcome to the Glenferrie Festival, now established as one of Melbourne's premier community events, taking place annually on the first Sunday in March. Located along Glenferrie Road, spanning from Barkers Road to Burwood Road in Hawthorn, this festival has become a highlight for residents and visitors alike.
 

Explore over 200 businesses presenting a diverse array of food and artisan products, featuring local community stalls and the regular Glenferrie Hawthorn traders offering enticing bargains and delightful sampling menus.
 

Throughout the festival, enjoy a vibrant mix of entertainment, from stage performances to street acts. The Glenferrie Festival is a day for everyone, attracting families, singles, and individuals of all ages. It's a fantastic opportunity to mingle, indulge in great food, discover unique local products, and experience the laid-back atmosphere with a strong sense of community.

TRAM ROUTE 16

Route 16 - Melbourne University to Cotham Road Kew, via St Kilda.
Bus Replacement from Kooyong Station to Cotham Road. 
Bus stops will be positioned at northern entry to the festival (Cnr Barkers and Glenferrie Roads) and southern end of the festival (Burwood and Glenferrie Roads).

ROAD CLOSURES

Glenferrie Road (between Barkers & Burwood Roads) will be closed to traffic on Sunday 3rd March from 5 am to 7 pm.  All roads leading on to Glenferrie Road in the Festival Precinct will be closed at the Glenferrie Road intersection between these times.
